Matching Game

Miss G is busy in Kindergarten learning the letter sounds.

Her teacher is super-fantastic, and Miss G really responds to her.

With every letter sound, there is an action to go along with it.

Tonight, we made a matching game to practice the lowercase letters she knows so far.
First, we lined up all the pairs of letter to review them:  s, t, b, p and m.
Above, Miss G is saying /m/ for m.
P says...
/p/
P is for Papa, so it's one of her very favourite letters.
This is /t/ for t
/b/ for b
And, /s/ for s
Look!
M is for Mommy and P is for Papa!
But, that's not a match...
She's got a fantastic memory, so it didn't take long...
... to make a match.
She was pretty excited about that!
Even when it was just a hunting turn, she liked it.
My happy girlie.
Good for you!
After the game, how did she want to celebrate and unwind?
By colouring, of course.
Tomorrow, she is bringing her Rabbit for show and share because the Letter of the Week is Rr.
