Happy Halloween!!

Halloween is SO MUCH FUN in a school.  I almost wish it were twice a year... Halloween in April, anyone?

My teaching buddy, Holly and I dressed up to celebrate with our Kinder Kids.
Miss A was Super A.
Miss G was a rainbow butterfly.  The Big Kids in the school put on a great Halloween carnival for the Little Kids, and Miss G had her face painted there!
After school, we opted for much warmer costumes that could be worn with snowsuits, and the girls decided on wearing the fabric wings I made them a few summers ago, and I designed some easy bird winter hats.
First stop!
Gramma's!!

The girls asked her about her hip, and thanked her for the pudding.  Yum!!
Next stop...
Lena and the boys'!  And, of course, KC the dog!
We wrapped up our wintery trick or treating on our court, and got to visit a few houses with our neighbours.

I'm telling you, at about - 7, the evening was cool, but not frozen like last year... and a dozen houses gives the perfect amount of loot, happy memories, warm tows, and cheerful girls... we were home and watching a movie by 7 pm!
Daddy retreated to the house shortly after we arrived back on the court for trick or treating to pass out treats to the trick or treaters, and it was the last stop for the girls.

We hope you had a happy Halloween!
