Where's the Thunder?

DAY 7 on the Road to Nova Scotia
Winnipeg MB to Thunder Bay NS (779.1 km)
3711.9 km in total from Yellowknife

(DAY 6 was a second day in Winnipeg.  Eli's truck was making noise that was making him crazy, so he got some exhaust work done.  And, he was exhausted.)

We hit the road, and most of our stops were to get gas, food or the bathroom.
This cool spaceship playground was outside one of the gas stations, so the girls had a chance to play a bit before we were on the road, again.

We went from Manitoba to Ontario, and we also passed the half-way mark of our trip!

Once in Ontario, we passed our second time zone change.  Driving east is really messing with our internal clocks!  It's way harder to wake up early, but we can usually drive later...  Not a problem, aside from the it getting dark!

The girls are really wonderful travellers.  Movies, books, and a few toys... plus sleeping masks when we are still driving late in the night.

They are hilarious, laughing at silly movies from the backseat!

In Thunder Bay, there were no thunderstorms to greet us (like in Winnipeg), but there was a JUNGLE ROOM for the girls!

That door is a pocket door leading to the bedroom for me and Eli.  The girls LOVED the jungle room!

And, the pool!  Well, we stayed there until it closed!  It had a three-story water slide (and we had a balcony overlooking the pool area).  Definitely the girls' favourite hotel on our stop.

Our trip today was 779.1 km.

We are now 3711.9 km away from Yellowknife, and are more than halfway to our new home.
